Hi guys! I'm sorry I that I fell of the face of earth. 2012 was such a bad year for me. I lost three family members and I'm just starting to feel better about my situation.

 

 I just wanted to post something real quick. I wanted to let you know that I will be coming back real soon. I bought a new house and I am finally getting my makeup Battle Station ready. I haven't really bought too much with cosmetics but I am going to try to post regularly.

Thank you guys for being patient with me. Its been a crazy ride and I'm trying to think positive.

Hi guys :) Did you all have a good turkey day? I know I did. I wanted to do a favorites post because I have not done one in like 3 months. I usually stick to the same products each month. I did buy some goodies on cyber Monday/Black Friday so I have a couple new products!

hmmmm..Gonna make me think. It was so long ago. I think it was Trax. I still use this shadow!

No doubt about it...MAC #224. Its the best blending blush I have ever tried

5. What is your favorite blush of all time?

What kind of question is this? Urghhhhhhh. I don't have an all time favorite because I love all my blushes. My current go to blush is Nars- Luster.

6. What is your favorite go-to single eye shadow color?

This is an easy question lol MAC-Ricepaper

7. What is your favorite nail polish brand and color?

I dont have a favorite color but I love Sallie Hansen polishes. I tried getting into high end polishes but I just couldnt. 

8. What is the weirdest beauty fad you've gotten into?

I'm pretty stubborn with my makeup style. I really haven't tried anything too crazy. 

9. What is your favorite drugstore brand?

Wet N Wild

10. Where do you buy most of your clothes?

Forever 21, Love Culture, Charlotte Russe, Wet Seal, BEBE, Guess, Old Navy, and H&M.

11. What is the first makeup product you remember using?

 I remember sneaking my moms blush and perfume. I use to sneak it into the bathroom and try to make myself up. lol Blush and Perfume are still my two favorite items. I LOVE MY MOM!!!!!

12. What is your favorite beauty product that came out recently?

MAC Pro Long Wear Lip Glass. The colors MAC selected for the Style Driven collection is FRICKEN GORGEOUS!!

13. What is your favorite upcoming fashion trend?

 BOOTS!!!! BOOTS!!!! BOOTS!!!! BOOTS!!!! I love boots

14. If you could only buy one makeup brand, what would it be?

ohhhhhh this is hard but I will have to say Nars. I love their brand overall!

15. How do I start getting into makeup?

Practice, Practice and Practice. I am 33yo and I still practice on myself and my friends. You can never get enough practice. Don't worry about brands only worry about your technique. Invest in a good primer and a decent brush. You can make dollar store makeup look amazing with the good technique,good primer and decent brush.

Inexpensive blush-BEAUTIFUL COLORS!!!

Hi babes! I am now back to my regular schedule and I finally had a little bit of money to buy some makeup. YAY! I heard lots of great things (mostly YT reviews) about La Femme Blushes. I was skeptical about purchasing anything from this brand because I wasn't sure if people were really in love with the price or the actual product. Some  people swear by ELF and I am convinced it is because of the price and not so much the product. I have a love hate relationship with ELF. lol

I'm always excited to try new blush from companies other than NYX, MAC, Milani, Nars, Benefit etc.... These blushes cost me only $3.00 a piece. They also have pan refills for only $2.50 each. Great right? Below are the colors that you can choose from.

I didn't want to buy pan refills because than I would have to buy the empty palette. I wasn't even sure I was going to like the blushes so, I just bought four of the regular $3.00 blushes.I bought these blushes from www.MakeupMania.com. I ordered the blushes 10/24/11 and they arrived on 11/10/11. They do have really cheap shipping ($3.00) but it does take a while for your ordered to processed and shipped. Below are the colors I ordered.

Final thoughts about the products: The pigmentation very bright and vivid. I did not use a lot of the product to get the right amount of color. The price is pretty good for the blush. I am used to spending $19.00-$30.00 for one blush and these blushes are just as pigmented as some of the higher end brands. The brand has a really good color selection and there are different finishes as well. I very rarely see that with some of the inexpensive cosmetic companies. 

The only negative is the lasting power. I have very dry skin and blush can fade on me very quickly. With my Nars blushes, I would not have to reapply for 6-8 hours. Unfortunately, these blushes only lasted about an hour and half. :( I am going to try using them with a cream blush so that maybe I can get a couple more hours. Even with that said, I still think they are worth $2.50-$3.00. They are better than the $3.00 ELF blushes. I hope you all can try to check out this brand.

YEAH BUDDY!

Hi babes! I hope you all had a great Halloween. OMG Have I been busy with work/kids/Halloween/vacations/car stuff.

Where to begin? After I lost my dog, the hubster thought it would be a good idea to take the kids out of the state. So we decided to visit my most favorite place in the world...Louisiana! I cant even begin to explain why I love this place so much. New Orleans is the most coolest place that I have ever been to my in my life.

On to the car stuff. My husband has been working very hard these last couple months with drift races and allllll kinds of other ishhh. Seriously the last 3 months, I have felt like a single mom. This is another reason I have been MIA.

My honeys car finished 2nd place at Formula D. I am so proud of my boys! They love cars/racing and we are really lucky to have a supportive/knowledgeable group of guys on our team.  

 Our new car was revealed this week at the SEMA convention. This is why I have no money to buy makeup. It cost us so much money to have a booth at the convention not counting all of the travel expenses for all of the team. My hubby spends all our damn money on his cars. I still love him tho.

okay so that's what I have been up to lately. SEMA ends tomorrow and I should be back to my regular schedule. I haven't bought much makeup because of the cars/husband expensive hobby but I will try to do some other posts. I miss you all. THANK YOU for all your kind comments about my dog. You all seriously made my day. I read your comments to my kids when they were sad. I appreciate you guys so much!

Hi dolls! I hope you all have been doing great. Sorry that I have been MIA. I have been so busy with my kids sports and I lost a member of my family recently too. I'm still in shock/denial and it really hasn't 'hit me' yet. RIP Petey 2006-2011
